Dr. Todd Francis’ Education and Experience Qualify Him as One of the Best Neurosurgeons in Michigan
As an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Dr. Francis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. After graduation, he attended Wayne State School of Medicine at the Detroit Medical Center where he completed a Master’s of Science degree, medical school, and a neurosurgery residency. He additionally completed his PhD in physiology in 2010.
Dr. Francis then went on to do a one-year fellowship in clinical spine surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where he stayed on as a staff neurosurgeon for five years. Eventually, he became Chief of Neurosurgery for the East Region and also taught as an assistant professor of surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve.
